Quintor Homes joins forces with local lodge suppliers

06th June 06

East Yorkshire-based Quintor Homes, the company behind Raywell Hall Country Lodges, has announced that it will be joining forces with two local Yorkshire companies, to offer buyers the ultimate lodge experience.

After careful consideration Quintor has decided to use Pocklington-based Lissett Homes and York-based Advent Park & Leisure Homes to supply the lodges for the luxury Holiday Home Development.

Quintor Homes is developing the 35-acre grounds of Raywell Hall into an idyllic lodge retreat of 43 dwellings, set in the grounds of Raywell Hall, a 19th Century Manor House, which was once home to noted politician and close friend of William Wilberforce, Daniel Sykes.

Despite looking at lodge suppliers nationwide, Quintor was highly impressed with the products and first class service offered locally by both Lissett and Advent and has awarded the companies with the contract to supply buyers within their range of lodges.

Philip Mackay, Project Director for Quintor, explained: "Where possible we always strive to use local suppliers and we were pleased with the exceptionally high standards of the lodges that both Advent and Lissett could offer.

"Both Lissett and Advent's primary business is manufacturing Park and Leisure homes and they have vast experience of working on large scale lodge developments of a similar nature to Raywell.

"Getting the lodges right is crucial to the development, we wanted to be able to offer our customers the very best lodges on the market. We also wanted to offer a choice which is why we have gone to two companies, rather than one."

Lissett Homes will be offering buyers the option of its Utopia Lodge whilst buyers can choose from the Tarragon and Rosemary lodges (and upgrades to the luxurious Opus versions) from Advent's collection.

Work began on Raywell Hall Country Lodges in March and it is already well underway. Quintor held its first VIP weekend earlier this month and was delighted with the early bird response. David Bowman, Sales Director of Lissett Homes attended the weekend and commented: "I believe that the Lodge Park at Raywell will rate as one of the top ten in country, customers are offered a perfect retreat in an amazing setting."

Chris Sheridan, Marketing Manager of Advent Park & Leisure Homes agreed: "Advent is extremely pleased to be associated with a prestigious development. With the sensitive landscaping planned, within a stunning location, allied with lodges of the highest quality, Quintor really are creating something quite special at Raywell."

The first Advent lodge will be sited in June with Lissett's Utopia following in July. Interested parties are advised to register their interest via the website or by contacting Sales Advisor Lesley Henderson on (01482) 300830.
