First chance to view plans for exclusive holiday home development
01st September 05
Quintor is delighted to be bringing a first to East Yorkshire with the erection of an upmarket holiday home development in the historic grounds of Raywell Hall.
Offering buyers a unique experience in the East Yorkshire countryside, Quintor is confident that the boutique holiday home development of 43 lodges will attract tourists to the area with the promise of an idyllic retreat in the backdrop to a historic house, close to amenities such as golf clubs and attractive East Riding towns like Cottingham and Beverley.
The weekend of September 3 and 4 will be the first chance for prospective buyers to view detailed plans of Quintor's exciting development as it is showcasing its plans on the Advent Homes Stand at this year's Caravan and Holiday Home Show at The Lawns, Cottingham. For those who express interest, Quintor is offering VIP tours to Raywell Hall, courtesy of Stockhill Motors, so that they can see first hand the historic and beautiful site on which the lodges are being built.
Philip Mackay, Project Director for Quintor explained: "Our development at Raywell plans to offer upmarket holiday homes, an idyllic and exclusive retreat away from the hustle and bustle of 21st Century city living.
"We are lifting the standards compared to traditional holiday home parks. Raywell Hall Country Lodges has been deliberately designed as a low density high quality scheme. This will offer a greater degree of privacy for each lodge owner and will allow them to enjoy the "get away from it all" surroundings."
The one, two or three bedroom lodges will offer spacious living, dining and kitchen areas. There is also an en-suite shower room and walk-in wardrobe leading from the master bedrooms. Additional luxuries such as saunas and Jacuzzi style hot tubs are expected to be common accessorises at the site.
Philip continued: "We hope to attract buyers from across the country. Perhaps those looking for a second home in an idyllic surrounding be it a weekend retreat or for those long summer breaks."
Built in 1803, Raywell Hall was once home to renowned 19th Century politician Daniel Sykes, a close friend of William Wilberforce.
Philip continued: "Lodges have long been valued by Scandinavians as the ideal solution to the competing needs of the environment and man; and their potential use at Raywell would help to restore the management of the grounds to levels of care that its forebears showed."
Lesley Henderson, Sales Advisor for Quintor, will be on the Advent Homes Stand at the Caravan and Holiday Home Show in September to talk interested buyers through the development. She commented: "I am really excited about the lodge development. Raywell Hall is an integral part of the history of East Yorkshire and we are delighted to turn its grounds into a unique retreat for so many people to enjoy."
Representatives from Quintor and details of the development will be at the Advent Homes Stand at the Caravan and Holiday Home Show, The Lawns, Cottingham on Saturday, September 3 and Sunday September 4. The VIP tours will take place from 11am to 5pm.
