Cottingham residents win luxury spa break after being one of the first to register interest in Raywell Hall Country Lodges

Quintor Homes was delighted to present Cottingham residents Mrs Jean Jordan and her husband Bob with a luxury East Yorkshire spa break after they were announced the winners of a prize draw, having been one of the first people to register their interest in Raywell Hall Country Lodges - Quintor's upmarket holiday home development in the historic grounds of Raywell Hall.
Exhibiting the plans for the development for the first time at Cottingham's Caravan and Holiday Home Show earlier this month Quintor was overwhelmed with the interest that the development of 43 lodges generated, collecting over 100 names of interested parties, some of whom wanted to reserve a plot there and then, even though the lodges won't be available until Spring/Summer 2006!
Philip Mackay, Quintor's Project Director explained: "Raywell Hall Country Lodges offers buyers a unique experience in the East Yorkshire countryside.
"Attracting visitors to the area with the promise of an idyllic retreat, in the backdrop to a historic house, we wanted to offer one lucky recipient who had registered their interest, the opportunity to experience the delights of the area first hand. That is why we put together a prize which included a night for two at one of the area's best hotels, Cave Castle, dinner, champagne, a far eastern massage and flowers.
"Many of the people who registered their interest at the Caravan and Holiday Home Show live all over the country, however Mrs and Mr Jordan didn't have to go far to claim their spa break at Cave Castle as they only live in Cottingham."
Jean Jordan commented: "Although I only live five miles from Raywell Hall, it feels like a different world. To me one of the main attractions of the development is that it is the backdrop of such a fantastic and historic house.
"My husband and I have looked at similar lodge developments however none of them boast such a historic backdrop. The appeal of Raywell Hall Country Lodges is also its close proximity to where we live at the moment. In just ten minutes we could be away from the stress of twenty first century life, relaxing in the grounds of a manor house.
"I was really surprised when I got the call to say that I had won the prize draw however I am very excited about the luxury spa break at Cave Castle."
Philip continued: "I was delighted with the interest that Raywell generated when we released the plans earlier this month. It is reassuring to know that the development has struck a cord with both local people and those further a field.
"Although the lodges are not being released for sale until 2006 we are encouraging interested parities to register their interest at www.raywellhall.co.uk so we can keep them updated with news about the development and upcoming open days."
Built in 1803, Raywell Hall was once home to renowned 19th Century politician Daniel Sykes, a close friend of William Wilberforce. For further details please contact Quintor on (01482) 300830.
