Awarded best lodge park 2015, 2016 & 2017

Raywell Hall Country Lodge Park awarded fifth successive TripAdvisor ‘Excellence’ Award

Raywell Hall Country Lodge Park is delighted to have received the highest possible recognition from its customers as consistent five-star reviews from visitors have helped us claim a TripAdvisor ‘Certificate of Excellence’ award for the fifth year in succession.

The TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence awards, recognise excellence in hospitality and are only given only to establishments which consistently achieve great reviews by delivering a superior customer experience.

TripAdvisor selects winners on the quality, quantity and recency of reviews submitted over a 12-month period, and David Coates, director at Raywell, says there is no better testimonial than the independent reviews of guests.

“In any line of business, particularly the holiday and hospitality sector, it is far from easy to achieve a five-star rating from your customers. It take a lot of hard work and dedication to always provide the very best customer service,” he said.

“There is no greater seal of approval than being recognised by your own customers as providing an excellent service and excellent value for money. To achieve an award like this, which is based entirely on customer reviews, for two years in succession, is a remarkable vote of confidence to our business and our continued commitment to excellence.

“We market our park as being somewhere to relax and enjoy the peace and tranquillity in luxury lodges, and we are very aware of that being the experience we must always deliver.”

This award is the latest accolade for our team, having established a growing reputation for providing some of the highest-quality lodge breaks in the UK.

Our 29-acre woodland lodge park is one of a limited number nationally promoted by leading holiday bookings firm Hoseasons as part of its prestigious Autograph Lodge Holidays collection, for which parks must go the extra mile to provide the extra touches to offer a truly memorable experience to be included.

“Given the popularity of our breaks, and the fact that we are often fully booked, we know we have the potential to expand and attract more visitors to our park, and of course to East Yorkshire,” added Mr Coates.

That high demand for Raywell’s holiday breaks is also making the lodge park popular with investors, keen to cash in on returns of up to £12,000 a year by owning their own luxury lodge and letting it out through Raywell’s partnership with Hoseasons.

The Raywell team manages and maintains lodges on behalf of owners, maximising the return through ensuring bookings are consistent throughout the year, whilst the owners are safe in the knowledge that they can occupy their lodge as often or little as they like.

“Investor ownership has been a key part of our success,” added Mr Coates.

“Many of our lodge owners use them for their own holiday breaks, but the rest of the time it generates an income for them.  Investor owners are key to our plans for continued expansion of the park, but people have to act quickly because as soon as we make new available, they are snapped up by new lodge owners.”

In August 2019, Raywell Hall has once again been classed as a 5* Holiday Park by VisitEngland for the 6th year in a row.
