Raywell Hall Country Lodge Park named in UK?s Top 10 Luxury Lodge Breaks by Sunday Mirror

Raywell Hall Country Lodge Park has been named as one of the UK’s Top 10 Luxury Lodge Breaks by national newspaper The Sunday Mirror.

It comes after collecting a string of awards on the back of exceptional reviews from customers and accolades from industry inspectors.

Raywell Hall was the only lodge park in Yorkshire featured in the Top 10 list compiled by The Mirror, named as Number 2 in the Top 10 list.

It featured alongside other short break destinations such as the new £250m Center Parcs complex at Woburn Forest in Bedfordshire.

Director David Coates was delighted to have been selected for the article, and says it highlights how Raywell Hall Country Lodge Park is now winning national recognition for the exceptional quality of its short break offering.

It comes on the back of securing TripAdvisor’s ‘Certificate of Excellence’ award for the second year in succession, as a result of consistent five-star reviews from visitors, and retaining its 5-star Quality in Tourism rating from Visit England, which it has held since 2013.

“We’re delighted that our dedication to providing a first-class experience for our guests is winning recognition not only from our thousands of visitors and industry assessors and inspectors, but now also by national media too,” said Mr Coates.

“To be the only luxury lodge destination across the whole of Yorkshire to be named in a list compiled by a national newspaper is a significant achievement and a reflection of the standard of luxury break we provide at Raywell Hall Country Lodge Park.”

The Sunday Mirror cited Raywell’s popular hot-tubs (where it suggests enjoying a glass of bubbly), its location close to the East Yorkshire coast and the city of York, and its excellent lodge facilities for including it in its top 10.

“We’re now seeing visitors come from right across the UK as the word on the relaxing and tranquil Raywell experience spreads, and that can only be a good thing for East Yorkshire and Hull in terms of helping promote the region as a great place to visit and enjoy,” added Mr Coates.

“Much has been made of the region being able to offer five-star accommodation for when Hull is the City of Culture in 2017, but we already do that here, and The Sunday Mirror has reflected that we are a top choice when looking for a great break in this beautiful part of the UK.”

Raywell Hall Country Lodge Park boasts luxury lodges with large open-plan living areas, bedrooms rivalling superior hotels and outdoor hot-tubs with stunning views across the countryside

The 28-acre woodland lodge park is one of a limited number nationally promoted by leading holiday bookings firm Hoseasons as part of its prestigious Autograph Lodge Holidays collection, for which parks must go the extra mile to provide the extra touches to offer a truly memorable experience to be included.

Five new lodges, including new three bedroomed offerings for families and single bed lodges for couples, have been added over the past year, with plans set to add a similar number over the coming 12 months to meet the increasing demand.
