Santa stops by at Raywell to spread some festive cheer
With just over a month to go until the big day, Santa stopped by at Raywell Hall Lodge Park this weekend for our annual Christmas market.
Despite the downpours, visitors got into the festive spirit by enjoying stalls of local produce, festive entertainment, sampling and tasting items, and snapping up festive gifts and hampers.
The market was the first of a number of festive events planned, with many more to come at Millers Tea Rooms on site.
A 'hamper night' is planned for those who would like to learn how to make their own, whilst Christmas party nights will be held on December 12, 13 and 19, with an all-you-can-eat Christmas buffet and entertainment for £24.95 per person.
Meanwhile, a Christmas charity concert, including music carols and festive fun in aid of local charities, will take place on December 22, from 4pm to 6pm. Tickets cost £12.50, which includes sherry, mince pies and a pantomime performance ‘Screwged’ – A Millers Christmas Carol.
David Coates, director at Raywell Hall Country Lodge Park, said: “Millers is set in a perfect location for festive cheer.
"Surrounded by stunning woodland and our beautiful lodges, the events at Millers add that special Christmas feel during the build-up to the day itself. We look forward to welcoming visitors and those who take part in the events.”
